I find it so easy to lose traction on the street from a stand stil when i give it some. Sure i can be more conservative on the throttle but there is a big difference in how much ground i lose. On a perfect surface i beat my friend. Industrial areas, closed off roads, secluded areas. But any surface and i say most surfaces on the street i just cant hold it down and if i do ive lost too much ground to recover. What can i do to get superior traction for the street? PG tyres driver mod? From being dead even to 60mph then winning on perfect roads to straight up being 2-3 cars behind on the street because of no traction from rev launch or not being able to rev launch for that very same reason. Very frustrating.

 

What tires what size?

 

Dead stops are tough. Try launching from the break pedal at about 1200 rpm at half throttle and after two car lenths ease the gas to the floor.

put the car in W mode lol ....problem solved tires saved.... my tires are getting low toooo....soooo since i know there going to need to be replaced i just rip them up anyways. makes it fun at times.

 

get drag radials, you can run nitto's which are less aggressive than the others and last almost as long as a regular performance street tire. that would give you a lot more traction.
