Default Compressor Crossfire

I have a 2005 (Dutch) Crossfire black edition and drove this weekend the SRT6 version: Damn this thing is fast ! Is it possible to put a compressor on the standard Crossfire and is that easy todo ?

Thanks,
Greetings Tom

Far more difficult and costly than one would ever expect it to be. There is so much more to an SRT than merly the Blower. Inner cooler, ECU, Transmission, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels to allow for brake size, plus.
I wish the SRT had all the interior comforts of the limited.
Cheaper and easier by far to fix the SRT's interior up to the Limited's level than it is to bring the limited's standards to that of the SRT's.
Nothing says your a$$ shouldn't sit in LUXURY even when eating up tarmack.
Other than visually, (the overly plain upholstrey) the first item that had been omitted on the SRTand I needed to upgrade was the Automatic Rear View Mirror.
Enjoy...
Mike

Thanks maybe it's easier and cheaper to find a black SRT6 and sell my black edition.

Anyone?

I would think that the stock engine has too much compression to run the SRT supercharger, but you can swap an entire SRT/SLK32/C32 engine into the car and this has been done successfully by House of Power in California.

Thanks but I am from the Netherlands and it's more difficult here because Crossfires are rare here

Typical threads that keep popping up by forum members looking to add some "pep" to the N/A Crossfire include: the SRT6 engine swap, the V8 engine swap, adding a Turbo setup or a Supercharger.

So far the only member to actually accomplish this was Chuck Norris with his Supercharger mod and it didn't pan out to well.

Lots of ideas - but so far no one has posted a video (other then Chuck) that shows their Limited Crossfire running with any of the above.

But like anything else - with plenty of money, tools, time and patience - you can make it happen.
