yeah, i would be interested in a stock-to-stock race as well, it would be very close, and especially a race through the twisties with such similar quarter mile times!

also, my buddy knows he may have little chance, but is visiting regardless.(his birthday) he knows i have every friggin bolt-on besides a pulley too....he has decided his new goal with the Z is to beat my car....

mrphotoman, YOU are the 'photo-man,' so in your opinion, what's the best hi-def mini-camcorder for mounting in an SRT6 and not laying waste to my wallet??? (i have more parts to buy)

 

for a cheapo camera that takes some really REALLY good video I would get a canon s3is, s5is, sx1is or sx10is. they are one of the very few digital cameras that can zoom while recording video. the video quality is top notch and they are cheap and have a huge zoom. they are not pocket cameras but they are not as big as a slr. it makes for a nice do all walk around camera. the photo quality is pretty good too.

you can get a s3is or s5is for around $150 to $200 if you look around. there are smaller cameras that take better photos but they do not allow you to zoom while recording video which is a deal breaker if you ask me. i can upload a full rez sample on my server if you want to see how good the video quality is.

for a small pocket camera that takes great photos and video (but no zoom while recording vids) i would get a fujifilm FinePix F200EXR or FinePix F100fd. they take really really good photos, easy to use, small and are cheap. the f1oofd had a $100 rebate not too long ago, it may still be good. if so, you can get it fro around $135!

 

Talking about cars to watch for:

The new mustang GT stomps the Genesis Coupe and the new Camaro SS stomps both.

As for the curves, a few suspension mods and the SRT6 handles as good if not better than the Z. Konis are awesome!

 

never said i know it all... but i would like to bet that my knowledge of cars in general is greater than most....

but also my mechanical knowledge didn't all come form the Srt-4 crowd. i have to say that the needswings intake isn't going to be something i need to post about how to install on the forums either...

i like trying to calculate differences between cars by comparing curb weight, hp and torque. sometimes you can guesstimate pretty close. no one believed me when i guessed the new toyota camry V6 would run 14's.
it's crazy that a lot of these new family sedans are in the 14's.

Re-read what he said. Unless I'm mistaken, he was saying it's NOT fair to do comparisons based on price because you'll always get the guy who brings up the "stripped out honda" or "5.0 fox body mustang and $5,000 running 10's" argument.
