Very similar performance to the gtech pro i used to have only this costs $29 on clearance!

Tried it tonight on the hhr ss and it showed 14.65@97mph which is right where it should be. I actually like it better than the gtech because it is wireless and compact.

Here is where I got it, a fun little toy to have and they are pretty darn accurate, i have used these accelerometers at the track several times and they are within 1/10th of second typically.

You better grab one before they sell out.

Apparently it's wireless, so no need to "plug and play". Just turn it on, set it in a secure place and run the car. For all iPhone users you can buy dynolicious for $13 and it will do the same thing if not more.

these are pretty fun, it shows your gforce while braking, accelerating and going around corners too. they claim the batteries (3 AAA's) will last a year in it too.

 

... or, "PocketDyno" has a -FREE- version that works for R/T, 1/4 mile runs and 0-???mph.

My 1st fun attempt, when first out at an in-town traffic light (with some street tire spin) , yielded

- max accel - 0.69 g's
- 60' - 2.28 sec
- 330' - 5.73 sec
- 0-10 mph - 0.63 sec
- 0-20 mph - 1.32 sec
- 0-30 mph - 1.99 sec
- 0-40 mph - 2.73 sec
- 0-50 mph - 3.65 sec
- 0-60 mph - 4.62 sec
- 0-70 mph - 5.81 sec

... then I shut down, couldn't even make the 1/8 mile without getting hyper illegal. I need a few more fun runs in more secluded locations. Neat tool for -FREE-

Thanks for that i just found one in store online in Oz so i just bought mine! Looks like fun. It says for 1/4 mile and 0-60 mode require some extra setup information that can be found in the manual?

my brother has one of those. actually i have it now so my sister in law didn't find out he bought it.

i've seen it in action in his turbo Voyager, works pretty good. i only did the 0-60 time in my SRT-6 though, i'll have to play with it some more.

the extra setup is entering your car weight, takes just a few seconds. it is super easy to use.

I recieved my performance meter this morning and tested it out tonight. I have intake and sc pulley i just instaled this afternoon. I got 4.55 4.45 4.60 I did notice just before i reach 100ks (60m) on my speedo the run would end with the performance meter. Do these times sound right with the mods i have? I was very suprised didnt think i would be seeing such great numbers. Is 0-60miles and 0-100km slightly different? If so how would i calculate 0-100 maybe add on 0.1 - 0.2?
