Coil Overs on an SRT!

We just confirmed that we'll be getting in a SRT to throw some KW V2 Coil overs on.
Has anyone done this yet?
If anyone is interested in getting a set let me know ASAP as we may be able to get better pricing. Right now the kit is 1601.25 shipped.
We'll have pics ASAP. And hopefully some track results and feedback.

A fellow member here has had them for over a year, srt6_crossfire.
I hope he doesnt mind me posting his replies to me when I asked for his feedback on them.

If you are not mechanically inclined, it is a PITA to adjust as you'll need to remove the spring to adjust height unlike true coilovers where u just use the wrench that it comes with. This is not a true coilover (ie. coils/spring not over the struts/shocks).

as far as tire rubbing you'll get them. my main complaint with them is that i have it set to medium (height) and i bottom out easy on the freeway when going over some inclined/decline spot when going over at least 80mph.
not an issue with road racing though.

another thing is, per Rob @ NW, the KW's have koni shocks that is different from what is generally available for the crossfire. i've already put 30K miles on the KW koni shocks but haven't had a chance to contact KW to find out for sure. I'll find out soon enough though...

For what it is worth, I put KW coilovers and koni's on for road racing. My car is low and will be left at the current height. I get some tire rubbing with turning the wheel real sharp. I took the car to Mid Ohio and really enjoyed what it could do out there. I didn't have much lean and was amazed at how the car handled the corners really well. My KWs and konis were obtained from Needswing. You can read about some of my experiences on my thread: Racing Modifications in Progress.
Good luck and you'll be glad you lowered your car for racing.
