Welcome to the SRT-6 club. I am also in Huntsville and have a SSB SRT-6 that I got a month ago. It is great fun and gets alot of praise from on-lookers and such. With a town full of Mustangs and Corvette, this thing really impresses when the pedal is down. Most can't believe they just got owned by a Crossfire. See you around town, it will be great to have company.

Goodgenes, I think I saw your call at the mall a few weeks ago. I was with my friend and said, "that's the car I'm looking for" and he replied, "that's a damn sexy car!"

That was the first time I had seen another srt6, I figured it was passing through. Awesome to know you're here!

I've already shown a couple of cars my taillights. No real impressive cars, just little rice burners that have big exhaust pipes. Don't even have to hold the petal down hard.

There is a 350z that lives a few neighborhoods down. We end up on the same road a lot, but in traffic. I think we're both waiting for that day we end up at a redlight front row at the same time.

I get a good spirited go every now and again from some local cars and have been real impressed with mine, but lately have been wondering if I am loosing power. I got my tail handed to me yesterday from a red supra, which I kinda new I would, but my car just didn't seem as strong as it should. Maybe I am getting used to the power and need another mod, or I need a second opinion. Mr-Lama, maybe we could get together and you tell me how my car feels to yours?

 

Hey that sounds like a lot of fun! We definitely should do that one weekend.

Have you noticed traffic being heavy the last few days? Maybe it's just the fact I want to go faster now, but it seems like it's been unusually busy recently.

Have you tried the throttle reset thing? I do it to mine about once a day, but I don't really see a difference. I do this:

Turn key to on position.

Hold gas down for 5 seconds.

While holding down the gas, turn off and remove key.

Take foot off gas.

Wait at least two minutes.

Am I doing something wrong with that?

 

don't remove the key.. just turn key to off position, take foot off pedal and wait 2 minutes (seems forever if it is hot outside)

 

It might be better if we take our "local" conversation to the "Southeastern Members" section so we are not taking up good SRT attention. There is an Alabama thread I started there that you might drop in and say hello to the locals.
