ok so I have 2 SRT's in my sights. One dealer, one private. Going to drive the dealers today. Will let yall know how it goes.
ok well the car was in horrible shape. Just to name a few things:
Front spoiler was cracked and underside was badly scratched
Both inside chrome handles were peeling
passenger side pull door handle was sticking half open
Cup holder broken
center console scratched
driver seat making bad grinding noise when adjusting
all 4 rims curb rashed
1 center cap broken and torn nearly an inch long.
Alot of lag in the engine and it wasn't smooth at all. my 04 accelerated much smoother (though not as fast)
Any thing in particular I should look for on an SRT to be wrong other than the same stuff on the limiteds?

things to look for. coolant in the tranny, (bad radiator valeo style) i/c pump failure (common to the bosch pump) lower a arm bushings for wear. drivers seat heater not working bas/esp lights

Had a recall on the battery and then transmission too... upper brake master cylinder leaked had to get replaced ruined the paint . . . . now its making a loud tick after it warms up. they said they replaced a lifter but It didnt fixit...... had an oil leak between cases they wouldnt do a thing about it. now its out of warranty and Im outa patience with it.....
Probably gonna have to tear into it myself.....arghh....
maybe I should change my screen name to (crossfire race fan)
