Default My OEM radio searchs on its own

My radio will not stay on one channel. It goes into search mode on its own. I cannot get it to quit. The warranty was up one month ago!
I tried a search and have not found this problem posted before.

lol this is where you go and get the extended maximum warranty and get it fixed... not because the radio costs 2500 or w/e bucks... but because you seriously need that warranty my friend...

But, apparently chryslers/dodge/jeep dealerships dont have any financing on the warranties until july 15 so I was recently told... but trust me... These cars are not cheap to work on and while all you may have to fix today is a radio, tomorrow it could be a 11k supercharger... Soo check it out! anddd as far as the radio spazzing out... Well to be honest mine somtimes does similar things and freaks out... i usually just on/off it. I have a feeling its common in these cars because of the excessive heat and kinda on them... but who knows! is yours a Nav one as well?

Just had mine replaced for doing the same thing! It even did it while listening to a CD. Try Ebay

A lot of owners replace their OEMs with aftermarket, not because they have problems, but they want iPod jacks, etc. Put a want-to-buy (WTB-OEM radio) post out and you'll probably get a lot of offers. My SRT6 came with some crappy aftermarket and I found an OEM (no nav) for $100. Have it standing by for when the aftermarket fails.
