Default and...the sprint booster saga continues.

Forgot to mention that I got a SB a few months ago. Not cheap, at around 250 USD. I had the car in for some servicing. Guy says: "ever tried a sprint booster? I can hook one up in two minutes and you can take it around the block". I did so, walked back in and gave him the cash. HUGE difference. While of course I can see no way in which it actually adds to the speed of the car, it DOES add to the chances of dominating in a race. When I put my foot down from a standstill, the car GOES now, instead of going and making a cup of joe before deciding to haul ****.
Just my 2 cents.
Incidentally, with the SB,code 3,needswings CAI, I'm mid twelves. about right I guess...

Yea i love mine too. First mod. Everyone says it doesn't cut times. But how can it not. Every 1/100th of a second u are sitting there waiting for it to go it wasted. The SB cuts the lag out, therefore cuts time out.

It won't affect 1/4 mile times unless you don't pre-load at the staging line. Most of us that drag rev the RPMs up when we are at the staging line. On go, we either roll the throttle or go WOT. There is no lag when you do this, hence no improvemnet in ET.

I can confirm that it doesn’t not make it faster at the track, but man with a few mods it makes the car difficult to drive. When you add the intake, pulley and tune….plus the sprint booster, the car becomes hyper sensitive and makes it tough to even maintain a constant speed on the freeway. The slightest movement on the gas pedal has an instant “jerk” of acceleration. It was fun for a few months, but after awhile, it kinda becomes annoying. I removed mine after a year and the car feels more civilized. I noticed this change when I got the updated (version 2 )ECU tune and the extra 20hp it came with. Once you hit that 350 rwhp mark, I think that is where the Sprint Booster may need to come off. I can still make her get mean by pushing that petal and hitting the kick down switch!!!

I have several spritebooster's in stock, stage 1 which is one sprite bottle cap is $50 shipped and stage 2 is two sprite bottle caps glued together for only $95 shipped.
Installation is easy. Just glue or velcro it to the top of your switch under your gas pedal and your good to go.

I am now offering stage 3 for $115 on sale. This consists of 1 long stainless steel speed screw that screws your gas pedal to the floor so you are at wide open throttle 100% of the time. This mod is for the extreme speed racers only.

again, not claiming that a SB would take anything off the 1/4 as the timer starts from when the beams are reconnected. That means AFTER the car has started moving, and therefore not affected by the booster. It will make it seem that your reaction time is better though, when racing another person. If you both hit it at a light at the same time, if he has instant response and you have to wait a second, he will start out in front...

Hey Aussie! Are you finally happy with the Code 3? I'm pleased to see you in the mid 12's.
