What is this line ? help
Located at the rear of the driver side of the Engine ,Looks like it connects to the rail , the hose needs to be replaced it's cracked ,but I'm not sure what to order ,looks like a high pressure hose
THANKS !!
THANKS !!
That would be the PCV hose that vents oil vapor to the bottom of the throttle body to be burned. No pressure, just the old fashioned vent hose for fumes. Woody
Goes to the needswings cai on the passenger side, note hose clamp, not fuel.

That is the line feeding the fuel rail. Crossfire service manual page 14-33.
Crossfire parts manual, figure 14-310, item #10, Fuel Hose, 05099000AA,looks like the correct one. You should double check to be sure.

YES. You need to download the servce manual and parts manual from the SRT6 forum. Here is the fuel rail removal procedure.....
9. Remove the fuel injector retaining clips and the fuel injectors (4) from the fuel rail (2).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner housing.
2. Remove the air cleaner housing.
Refer to Page 9-608.
3. Remove the fuel rail trim panel screw and then remove the fuel rail trim panel (1).
4. Release the fuel pressure through the fuel rail service valve (7) using a fuel pressure tester. Collect the fuel in a
suitable container.
5. Disconnect the fuel feed line (3).
6. Remove the fuel injector wire harness connector retaining clips and then disconnect the fuel injector harness (6)
from the fuel injectors (4).
7. Remove the fuel rail retaining bolts (8).
8. Remove the fuel rail (2) with the fuel injectors (4) by moving the fuel rail (2) side to side while lifting upward.

It looks like I can just replace the line it has fittings at both ends and is only about 6 or 8 inches long and its out in the open not restricted ;
just wanted to make sure about the pressure,,,,, I actually found this problem while installing a Needswings CAI
Again Thanks for all the info...

Just be sure to relieve the fuel line pressure before.

Valve is on the passenger side, front end of rail.

Another way to release pressure, that is on most cars:
Pull the fuse for the fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Start and run car until it dies. No pressure.
