Default Crossfire owners drive like grannies?

I went to the track and had a blast... except for all the slow cars I had to deal with. When, at last, I got clear of traffic I decided to explore the limits a little. Braking later and carrying more speed in the corners. Lets just say I'm real popular at the track .... especially with the drunks. Hope you enjoy my exploits.

Well it was atleast a good recovery, you ended up going in the proper direction again. Most people would not have spun it back around. Good job. It is nice to see someone use their right foot

Were supposed to drive at 85% but I just can't help myself. Part of the reason for the spin was my unhappiness with my line through the esses. So I was concentrating on the first set and found myself out of position for the 2nd set. I really didn't know why I spun until I saw the video. I had no idea I had dropped a tire in the grass. The spin was on the last lap so no track time lost. When I came in the pits I had a cheering section waiting.

i have a couple non racer questions.
1 do you watch the speedo? how fast are you going? it seems like the cones come up extremely fast!
2 are you only allowed to pass on the straights?
great video!
3 how do you mount the camera and were do you mount it?

I don't watch the speedo ever. But I did hide my dashdaq in the car and logged the first run. I reach 95 on the backstraight and 112 on the front straight before slowing for the chichane which I pass at 75 to 80. The hairpin is 28. (they saw the dashdaq before the second heat and made me remove it) the esses where I messed up I take at (can't remember for sure but it's between 70 and 80) My tires are 4mm taller than stock so it could be that I'm actually going 1% faster.

We are only allowed to pass on the straights and only if waved by. We are not allowed to follow real close behind another car. Slow Porsches always make me break the rules so they throw the blue flag.

The camera came with a suction cup mount. It's a GoPro Hero motorsports camera.

You know, I'm nervous beforehand but really calm in the car.

Great Video, that some great driving getting the car back in line. I'm only talented enough to turn left at the end of the 1/4 mile
