tighed1 Dyno results 10/10/09
Finally got the SRTs' on a dyno today. Dyno is a Dynocom DC-1800sz-se if it makes a difference. Here are the results.
The third run was the good run as the car downshifted on the first two runs. By the last run the car was way hot.
05 SRT COUPE
Stacked 181 & Code 3, LET Tune (if dealer didn't write over it), tighed1 version of the Woody SuperCooler, DIY Performace Intake

very impressive numbers dj! im guessing with a tune on the 192 pulley the torque will amazing!!
when i dyno'ed mine the downshifting was a real pain. the way we got passed it was to start the dyno run at approx 105 mph and run until 135 mph or so run ended just before the redline about 5800 rpm. it seemed to downshift right after

I was wondering if there was a trick to keeping the downshifting from happening. I had to rev up to 4 grand then mash the gas. Thankfully I remembered to pull fuses 17 & 18 to disable the EAS.
Would be cool if you dyno smart folks would please tell me what the numbers mean on the separate cars.
LET folks. Does it look like my tune is still there on the coupe or do I need to sent it back to ya? I agree with Krazy that a tune would help on the Roadster. Do I need to send it in?
Thanks all!
Thought that I would add that folks were really impressed with the Crossfire! One of the dyno operators said that he needed to get one for himself. On the way home in the roadster I got two "Thanks a nice looking car" from folks.
We REALLY do have nice cars!!! Enjoy them!

What is the 600 plus ft pound reading from??
My torque was flat from low to high and I wonder how the readings relate, I ask as I can not expand the view of the prints. Woody

The first two runs I guess show bad data cuz the car shifted gears. The Last two runs on the coupe are good 'cept the last run I was running too hot. So check out the third run on the coupe and tell me what ya see.
