yah i unfortunately can't make it tonight. i promised myself i wouldnt run again until

a) deleted my secondary cats (today)
b) cleaned out my intake filters (remember how much i was complaining? haha)
c) retune my car with dynocomp (likely next week)...

...or else i would go....

and i just missed hooley....he left for tucson.....i need his DRs lol.


EDIT: oh and split my coolant system. i just got the hardware in from Rob and gotta do it.

 

I told Hooley to come out but said he was leaving town. Yes getting his DR's would have been needed to take advantage on a night like tonight.

Well get your car ready and we'll see if my wheel offset will work on yours too.

 

but i wont have time to tune it today. im going to get my cats deleted now....and still need to clean the intake filters (and make sure there is enough time to dry) AND split my system with Rob's kit....which shouldnt take too long apparently, but i need to call him for some quick directions lol.

Come on out and join us. There are at least 3 of you in SD now. It's going to be a great event. Last night I was able to lower my AZ best to a 11.960, and also cut another perfect .000 light.

 

Congrats...............I'm guessing the weather down there has improved greately. The best light I've ever cut was a .023.




PS Speed TV is gonna be filming for "Pass Time" this upcoming Tuesday so I'm gonna go out and try to represent the Crossfire world. I'll let you guys know if I make it.

 

I'll be on a flight home from NC the day before...then I drive up north for some holiday vacation..

I'll hope for -DA and a sticky track for all....

 

I would love to go and run side by side with you. One of my buddies here got a return email from the show. He's not able to make it. I'm wondering if they already have the cars picked out. He said he registered on the website.

 

December 19th 2009. 9am Gates open and should be running first qualifying session by 10am.

If we start around 10am we should get 3 time runs and then our bracket race. The difference this year is I was able to get the night session included for the same price. Thats when the DA will be at it's best and the track will be nice and sticky from the day session. So plan on a long day and night.

It's $20 per car and driver, and $10 per spectator, 12 and under free. We can organize something for food and trophies.

bump, may get a few CA MB heavy hitters to come out and play. I'll know after the Sac event. Might be the only time you'll see some of the fastest MB's in the country here in our backyard.

evan....any chance you got an extra helmet i can use? if not, i can search around for one to pick up on craigslist.

 

And my helmet is now "out of date".
