I think your gonna put a lot of time and effort into discovering what i did after owning this car for 2 years and testing multiple exhaust configurations. Loss of power. Now if you were to cut the exhaust off after the h-pipe, or better yet delete the h-pipe and run a 3" y-pipe you might get the results your looking for.

Curious to see how it works out for you though, nothing wrong with seeing what results you come up with.

I had one of those cc inserts in my old car, I lost 3mph and 2/10's in the 1/4 mile when I added it to the exhaust.

====== Did you have a muffler? I don"t , Did u put it in both e/pipes? I only put it in 1. This got rid of the drone! I do not race the XFIRE just drive around. I would not think i would lose any HP but i did lose 40 lbs of muffler and gained HP!

Dude I was just watching some of your q/mile videos on youtube consistant 12.2 - 12.3's very impressive is that with just an intake, pully, tune and DR's? heck on a cold day and with some octane boost you might even hit 11's

thanks man, i ran some 12.2's without the drag radials too. i should be running some better times now but almost the entire summer we had rain every weekend. i was going this weekend finally but now we have some rain again on saturday and this is the last weekend of the year for racing

i will try to hit up a southern track next weekend and see if we get lucky with no rain lol.

btw, i am on the phone with my friend that is moving to Australia in november, he is going to move right outside Sidney with his fiancée. i plan to go visit him once they get settled in!

Man that sounds exactly like my situation in Aus, in summer it always rains when you want to go racing lol.

The weathers been really kind latley though so hopefully it holds up another 8 days and I can see what my car does the q/mile in!!!!

Thats great news Sydney's a wonderful city but very crowded, I live in Melbourne about 7 or 8 hour drive from Sydney! Is his fiancee' an Aussie?
