Default I can fly again...

I finally got the Aero back on the road. Here are the new front brakes and a little mod to the hatch.

I took it to the muffel shop this afternoon and got a bung installed too. Now I can install the Zietronix. Having a week off is good for projects.......

Did you forget that you told me who did your wings? Mine has a M in the middle...Duh! and yes, they are YELLOW. I got to see them in the light of day today when I went to the muffler shop to get the bung installed. I like how they look. Now I have to pull the rear calipers and do them too.

Zietronix install this week..

Hey Mike when you install your ztronics the easiest way to get the wires into the car is on the passenger side lay a drop light on the floor board after you pull out the glove box. Now remove the BCM 2 module. If you look at the fire wall under where the BCM was you will see a slot of light that makes it very easy to get the wires in. The wires leave the BCM Box on the driver side at the firewall. You can run your o2 harness in at the harness next to the firewall just insert a pair of needle nose pliers into the boot and spread it open then push the plug thru. Any other wires can go thru the same boot. Make sure you fuse your pwr wire within 6 inches of your connection. This is to protect the car not the ztronics. If you do it right when it is all done you cannot even see any of the wires under the hood.

I took the Aero out for a spin about an hour ago..... holy crap!! This car LOVES 43* air.... it has been raining but the roads were mostly dry.... high humidity though... The car feels like I have another 50hp and the SC really sounds good sucking that COLD air in the NW dual CAI.

Too bad there are not tracks open now.... I would bet I could get near the 11.6-11.7 mark....

Those MB calipers sure look sweet. I going to start collecting the necessary parts to do the same to my car.
