Greetings, SRT6 Owners... I'm intrigued with your cars.
Hey Dave I have an 05 SSB SRT6 roadster (Saphire Silver Blue), that your welcome to take a look at and ride in, if you wish. I work in and Live in West Houston.
Unfortunately I'll be out of town this week for Thanksgiving, but if you're interested next week, let me know

I drive my SRT6 everyday (38) miles round trip. I personally like a firmer suspension. I would not get an NA, although my wife has one. Power is where it's at and the NA just does not have it. When my 93 RX7 TT comes back on line I will drive the SRT6 less.

If I were you, I would try to find one you can drive
"you are welcome to look at or take a ride, "NO DRIVING FOR YOU!!" LOL

Ahh .............he mentioned wanting to see how hard the ride was, I didn't think he'd want to DRIVE one .............especially one with me in it ......... :O) the wife doesn't even get to drive it ............. :O) not that I'm implying in any way he drives like my wife ............

I don't do a 100 mile comute, but I do cover about 80 miles per day driving
to and from work. I make this drive at least 3 times a week (get to work out
of the home office other days) and I like the stiffer ride. There are a
lot of cars with a better ride, but not many with a better ride that give as
much fun as as the SRT-6, at the current price point.
I get around 23mpg, when I can keep my foot out of it, but the bite at the
pump is not too bad. Off warranty service could be a bugger, but you can
get a 100,000 mile extended warranty that covers nearly everything (If it
moves, it is covered) at a fairly reasonable price.
I have been driving this car now for 5 years (purchased new in Oct. '04)
and I have over 77K miles on the clock. Car is still running great, and
should be even more fun when I get the Eurocharged tune early next
month. Sure, there have been a few mechanical problems... IC pump (x2),
tranny leak (covered by TSB), Crankshaft sensor issue and a broken motor
mount. These have been not happy times, but they were over quickly
and covered by warranty.
Now, my wife is not a fan of the Crossfire. Took her to the Dragon one
and she was getting so nauseous I had to back off and find a place to
stop for a while. She even gets that feeling while driving the car. Which
she can do anytime she wishes, so long as she doesn't leave the garage.
Seriously, tough, I love this car, and when I wear out the motor, I think
I'll drop a new one in.
Can you find a better car? Sure, but not at this price (nor at the price
I paid when I drove mine off the show room floor). Good luck.

I'm in Ohio - Larame was just a nick name when I was in the 8th grade.
I may need to change my advise to buy a Saab - on the other hand there are going to be some good deals out there.
General Motors Co. may shut its Saab unit after sports-car maker super car Koenigsegg Group AB canceled a planned acquisition of the Swedish company.
My guess is GM's improving financial picture means they want to keep Saab as they need a European near luxury brand. Or some Chinese manufacturer buys Saab - might be better than GM ownership but I like product devlopment in Sweden.
Worst case - this is the end of the road for Saab like Saturn another one bites the dust. I hope my 100K mile saab warranty is good but I might be getting service at a Chevy dealer before this is over. But this is the same reason I got such a good price on car. This will be good training if Chrysler does not make it. I may need to go buy a Saturn this weekend.

Dang... I have in-laws in Laramie and have been driving the SSB out there the last two summers to take my grandson to visit. I was hoping there was another Crossfire in Laramie.
