The 3M product can be puchased at Autozone. Here's the link on Amazon.
Amazon.com: 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System: Automotive

It works brilliant!

Chris, isn't some of yours on the INSIDE of the lens?

I thought so, but I researched this on the forum and MOST people think that there is a film covering the lens and that it can be polished out?? I am going to give it one last go with the stuff I just ordered. Hopefully it works. If it doesn't, its not a loss as my tahoe desperately needs this treatment!

Yes best is remove the film which is very easy. The deterioration is not the lens itself but the film. Follow the instructions 3M provides, you'll be very impressed.

I used 1000 and 1200 grit wet/dry sandpaper on mine to get that VERY rough hazing off mine. Then I used a kit that I had gotten online from one of the polishing places when I bought my buffer and polishing stuff. I would just go to Napa and buy something now. I am going to put a UV film over to protect them when it warms up enough.

I don't quite understand why they wouldn't work on the factory set up...
