Default Looking at SRT6 in Texas

Went and looked at a SRT6 this morning and trying to decide to make the jump.Car is in fairly good shape, scuff here and there, clean Autocheck, new tires on back of course... Now gotta wait for the CU to open Monday to see if it can happen. I know it has the leaking valve cover gaskets, is there a brand or place to get these that is better than others?
Thanks
Andy

Good luck on the sale! The normal leak point is the small cover on top of the valve cover and that is sealed with a good RTV sealer.

Andy,

There are a group of Crossfire owners meeting tomorrow in Plano. Check the Texas section of the forum for details. If there is any chance of bringing the car, we would be glad to give it a look over for you.

It is a Graphite coupe with 32xxx miles..is the gtg still on with all the rain??
Looking through the forums looks like the valve cover area leak is no big deal to fix...

I didnt mean to be rude. I didnt buy it because I saw it on here, I saw the ad on craigslist yesterday and decided to go today to look at it, saw this post on here afterwards. At that price it had to go within 24-48 hours of being posted. My uncle owned one, same color and all, but traded it in for an srt charger after 6 months of getting raped by my ram srt-10,lol, even afterwards, he still got killed, just not as badly

There are no shortage of these for sale at this time so it should all work out.

You still got that Ram? I would love to see if it can "rape" my SRT6...

the ram had a blower on it, it put out 640rwhp, a kia would beat it off the line, but after that, it would eat anything. the charger had a little bit of work done to it, it would hang up until 80 or so and then the truck took it. I sold the ram about a year ago
