HELP...car @ dealer for nag ring leak and now will NOT shift out of 1st...
Drove car home from dealership about 12 days ago after oil change and nag ring repair (about 7 miles and car drove fine)...Went to drive car today (have not driven since the ride home from dealership) and it will not shift out of 1st gear. I then turned engine off and it would not restart...waited about 4 minutes and it started and we limped home in 1st gear with check engine light on....
Car would shift into park, reverse and drive (1st gear)...auto stick did not work...did not see any fluids on garage floor
Any thoughts before the car gets towed to the idiots at the dealership...I've never had any tranny issues at all before this...seems kinda coincedental...HELP!!!

Low fluid or they maybe messed up the connector plug when they fixed it.

I agree you should check for any codes first that can be a great start, I also think it could be an electrical failure, possibly related to the repair, you could check your own fluid level by using the zip-tie method some one here has a thread about checking your trans fluid level, use the search.
Unfortunately I dont have anything to check the codes with...car will need to go back to dealer...I'm just hoping its nothing major (still have extended warranty)....I did not see any fluid on the garage floor and the car has been sitting for 12 days..the repair report stated they added tranny fluid
These dealers are idiots
These dealers are idiots
Dealer said need to replace tsm. Is this throttle sensor module? Could this have been messed up during nag ring repair?
