Hey guys and gals, new kid on the block. Just bought a 2005 SRT6 Love it.. but have notice when I'm in Drive when I floor it I get nothing slap it down and it takes off. only happens now and then, is it low on tranny fluit? or the accelerator sensor acting up. any thoughts before I take it in.....

try the throttle reset first sounds like you are not hitting the down shift ,,,under the gas peddle (electronic ) botton ,when u take off in D (hard ) is there any problem with the shiffting> jim

 

Sounds like the intercooler pump is faulty (or fuse is blown)...

 

You need to give a better description...you say you floor it, then slap it down...same thing ehh?

I think you're saying it doesn't take off unless you floor it (put peddle all teh way down) iif so yeah do the throttle reset...another idea is to see how it runs when you're manually shifting it. That'll tell you a lot.

I think he is referring to downshifting.
