Didn't know it had a separate oil. I thought it was part of the engine oil. Will have to look.

This seems really strange, many people on here have taken there supercharger out and I havent heard of anyone seeing any oil spill out?

Maybe the guy was sucking out his engine oil? I'm not sure it seems very strange that it would use its own special oil. If it does I want to change mine staight away

The front gears do have their own lubricating oil. Its a special long life stuff that doesnt normally need to be changed that often, but if you drive the car hard, and have a pulley you need to change it more often

I thought the service life of the s/c oil was like 100,000 miles?

much like m/b saying the oil in the trans was a lifetime oil once you start modding things change. i believe folks started this as a preventative measure

Check your local airport supply or ask the A&P mechanic...

Although MB does specifically call for the Mobil Jet Oil II. (pg 10)
reading thru the thread and using the pdf for the jet oil it meets the m/b specifications required. thats why they were suing it to replce the s/c oil and its easily available

Oh nothing wrong with the that but if its rated for 100,000 miles changing it at 1/4 of service rating might be overkill. I tend to follow the system of not messing with things that aren't broken . minus following reccomended service scedules that is.

Luckily, I have the MityVac Vacuum bleed kit which should make removing the old oil pretty easy.
Since it is no more than an oil change it can not hurt and will likely slow wear.
Post pics! Do a walkthrough/how-to!

I have a spare can of Mobil Jet Oil II if anyone wants it. I bought two cans off a guy on ebay because it was cheaper than buying one can anywhere else. One can is more than enough for a lifetime. It's extremely simple to change. Here's a walk through I copied from MBWorld. Keep in mind these directions aren't mind, but rather ML500K's. Enjoy.'

Tools & Mats needed:
-E10 & E12
-largest syringe you can find , 100CC if possible
-12 inch r/c car fuel tubing or similar that can be attached to the tip of the syringe
- 1 bottle of A000 989 62 01 Supercharger Oil ( ONE bottle is all we need! ) Cost of oil is 60 dollars
- Some pipe thread white stuff, not sure what that is called ( see pics)

1) Use E10 to take off the secondary air pump plumbing brackets

2) Use E12 to take off the small pulley next to the SC ( if you still have one )

3) Use E10 to turn the belt tensioner to take off the belt

4) On the front of the SC and on the left side is a small hole with a screw,
you need to unscrew that , You should put some rags below it cause the oils might flow out and it really stinks.

5) Use a syringe to suck up the oil, this way you know how much was still in your SC to begin with. You will have to suck a few times to get all of it out.

6) Purge all oil from the syringe and tubing

7) Pour the new oil directly into the syringe ( as shown in the video ) and pump it in slowly. Repeat until the whole bottle is in. You might want an extra pair of hands to help you hold the syringe. YouTube - Replacing Supercharger Oil on C32

8) Thread the sc plug with white piping film

9) Screw the plug back into the SC until its tight. The plug should be a bit lower than flush to the sc

10) reinstall piping, brackets and make sure your belt is all lined up

11) start engine and check for to see if everything is in order.
