So you all were right about the Dealer repairs
I made an appointment last Thursday to have some work done on the SRT6. The dealer rep said I was covered. I read the Chrysler Certified warranty and yep its listed right there Cooling system covered. So yesterday I took it in at 7:00 am right when they opened. No problem. Then about noon "We are fixing all the valve cover leaks but the SC pump is not covered as its not part of the engine. Well I read the warranty again. I'm within the 3 month 3000 basic not even in the power train coverage yet. Everything is covered except plastic windshield wipers and the clutch if I had one. They are thinking about it now to see if they are going to honor their own warranty. Oh by the way $599 for the ic pump installed. You guys were right on. I should have just done the repairs myself at least it would be right and way less hassle.
Had my IC pump replaced with absolutely no issues. I guess you just have to luck out and have a reasonable group to work with. You are still better off just putting a better product in yourself. Consider it a blessing in disguise.

The super charger is "not" part of the engine????? Surely they didn't look at you with a straight face when they said that, right? If that's the case, then the intake manifold is not part of the engine either, or the exhaust system..... Come on now.
