Default SRT vs 2 vettes

I ran a C6 Z06 vette and an ls3 C6.. Now I ran the Z06 first about a week and a half ago and the ls3 last night both in Mexico.

Z06 had intake
Z06: Went first from a 55 roll and he put about 4 cars on me to about 125 130
Race 2: was from about a 45 roll and again it was about 4.5 cars to that same speed.

Now here is the part im confused about.

Ls3 Stock
Ls3: first race was at a 55 roll and he put the same 4 cars on me...
Race 2: Same thing happened exact results.

I know both of the people and can not put this together I think it may have something to do with my car.
When i got my car tuned everytime I start the car it jumps to about 1700 rpms then drops back down quickly. It didnt do this before the tune. I also dont notice the power like I did when I installed the Intake and the pulley. Both were installed one at a time.

Any Ideas on whats going on?

There is an easy explanation for this... Stock z06's can trap 125ish. So the z06 u raced should trap 125+. A car thats well over a second faster and easily traps 10-12 more mph than us should *** rape us. Why that didnt happen. I do not know. Stock ls3 vettes are 11 second cars and like all vettes are hwy princesses. The outcome of that race seems about right. Can ur buddy with the Z06 drive it well?

Yeah he knows how to drive... He trapped 126 in the 1/4.. And if it seems like the outcome was right then i guess everything is all good with my car

I don't see those times at the Muncie track with ZO-6's....the new Z yes, the old Z's from a stand start, no....my '03 wasn't that quick either...I would never race a vette from a roll....hole shot only...if you can't race someone from a standing start, in my old opinion, you aren't racin'.....you are a playin'....

I have raced cars that have trapped 126, but only ran a 12 second 1/4...so, this is where the 60' time, and reaction time plays a big part in drag racing....rolling, you will get your butt kicked...

Those Vettes could weight less then your SRT-6. We have a corner weight and dyno day coming up and the Vettes went in a few weeks early and the heaviest was 32xx with the driver. Less drag, less weight, more power, 315's or bigger in the back with a posi. Not a surprise. The shock is that you could hang as close as you did. So congratulations, and the tune must be doing something. (or I've been drinking)

I knew you'd understand! Weight without the driver and with. This Vette has a Vortech (or Paxton) so it's "heavy". Notice the almost perfect balance with the driver in the car? Insane!

Yeah., mine does that to sometimes. It idles at 1700 and then goes back down. I solved the problem with Lucas fuel injection cleaner. Seams to have worked perfectly fine....

There's a thread going on over on the Corvette Forum with a guy complaining that a non Z06 Vette was able to keep up a bit more than he expected. It's been deduced that the Z06's advantages over the standard LS3 Couple is greatly magnified at high speeds.

PS I'm getting ready to get some long-tube headers, 160 t-stat, Vararam ram-air intake, and a custom dyno tune on my 09 Vette courtesy of East Coast Supercharging.
Stock this LS3 feels stronger than my SRT6.
