This is a crossfire forum but the s2000 is one VERY FINE piece of engineering.i can go on forever about this car. Bottom line, there is a reason this car and all hondas hold their resale value so well. for daily driving, go s2000. If you do a combo of motorsports and daily its a tough one. If you mod much go s2000. For what it is the s2k is a blast to drive. Everything goes so well together. Ill take an s2000 over srt-6 for daily driving duties any day. Maybe even autocrossing too( if i participated in autocrossing). Cool factor, best bang for buck, power, and potential to make even more power goes to the srt-6. Its a tough one.

If I had not found the perfect SRT6, I would have a S2000 by now. Still looking for one for wifey or an NA.

Barnzy.....keep looking for what you want...you have put your time in, but I know how strapped my #3 son is with student loans, even with me still helping, and maintenance has to be done on these beauties. You can't enjoy them if you don't keep them up. I personally wouldn't own a Honda anything unless it be a generator...lol...they do make great generators. They handle pretty well. I was a Chevy guy my whole life, die hard chevy guy...and for an SRT6 to wrestle me away, that is saying something for these cars. So, go after what you want, just pointing out the costs for it. There is an abundance of help right here if things go wrong...might want to look at the insurance cost of owning one of these babies as well...good luck young man.....

Yeah I starting looking at N/A, you can find nice low mi cheap and I do like some of the color schemes better. That being said Ill def. try to still test a s2000 to compare.

Insurance for the srt6 was going to run me 1200 a year...my 2000 bonneville with no comprehensive or collision runs the same. Im switching insurance as soon as I get a new car, it seems im taking it on the chin pretty good right now.

Seems almost like Apples to Oranges to me...
But generally what would your expect for an answer when you ask a forum loaded with lovers of a car that care enough just to sit and read what others have to say about their cars?
You will never be satisfied with either until you have made the decission for yourself...
Go with the SRT!
