Loud backfire sound from under the hood on a trip from Houston to Dallas . I was going about 80 mph and it did it twice so I pulled over thinking I got some bad gas . So I added octane boost too the gas tank and kept it around 70 mph and no more backfires anybody have this happen to them

 

Haven't heard of this before. Maybe someone else will have.
