SRT6 coupe owner in UK...
Hello! Right then. My SRT6 electrics seem to be up the shoot. Diagnosis required please!
Here are the probs:

Here are the probs:
- electric seat moves when position adjust lever is pushed (engine off) even when door is shut - whereas before, the drivers door had to be open OR engine running
- the car alarm is misbehaving. Usually by pressing door lock button, lights will flash a couple of times, then car armed NOW lock button pressed, car armed, BUT 2 mins later, alarm will go off. OR lights will flash continually.

As far as the electric seats are concerned, I believe that is normal. I can adjust my seating position with the car off. Some others may want to chime in here.
The alarm is a different story altogether, if you search for alarm problems there is a heap of information on the forum.
However, I am going through the same dilemma at the moment and to help you get started the most common causes of alarm faults are:
1.Flat Car Battery.
2.Flat Key FOB Batteries.
3.Dodgy Alarm Control Modules.
I have tested and replaced the first two on the list, but that hasn't helped me personally, but for others it has done the trick. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to bring the car in to get the control modules checked :| hopefully that will fix the problem for good.
It's worth knowing you can shut the alarm up by removing the # 9 fuse, however you will not be able to lock the car remotely and you will have no interior light.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Michael

Please search the SRT6 section and respond to the SRT6 VIN# login thread with the last 5 numbers of your VIN#, along with the color and whether its a coupe or roadster. We are compiling a list of all VIN#'s, at this time we have over 1600 SRT6 listed in a database.

As simmie stated........check all the batteries first. If the problem continues check with UK-Steve because he is connected with a list of Chrysler/Crossfire mechanics in the UK.

I'm assuming Fuse #9 will disable the Alarm System, but the alarm has the potential to make noise till it's internal power dies.
Is this correct, or am I off base...???
