led light when super charger is on

has anyone even done the led light in dash, that light up when the supercharger in on? seen on you tube

I've seen it. Its one that Woody did a long time ago to demonstrate when the S/C kicked in and out.

Woody did a test using a led.
As long as yer movin (more than 1300rpm or so) the SC is on.

So the presumption is that if the SC pump fails the light is extinguished?

Ha ha! Sort of.
When my SC went out the "light" was definitely extinguished!

The light indicates when the SC clutch is activated.

So if the supercharger kicks in at 1300 why does my car usually jerk at 3,000 rpm? This is only when giving partial throttle in first and sometimes second.

That 'surge" has nothing to do with the S/C. I believe that was deemed to be caused by a intake leak? I will try to find the thread.
