found some lugbolts at 9 am and boogied on over. got there as the 599 ferarri gto was leaving! anyway we will get together next month when it gets hot!

 

If next month is hot, and today wasn't, you can have the car show to yourself. 96 degrees, plus the heat of the asphalt, is d@mn-well hot enough LOL

 

it was boiling! if you look at the door in the 2nd pic you can see the orange peel. ill be working on buffing that out on the sides tonite. want to get the paint as best i can before timmayfest!

 

Absolutly beautiful Steve !!! You sure scored big on the wheels too. I like them as much as I do mine LOL. Great job putting this beauty together. Can't wait to see the car in person.

I will have to let Anthony lay down the SLK AMG equivalent smack on you next weekend..

I do like how you can put mesh to protect the fog lights. On the SRTs you can't really put in aftermarket round lights in the hole without people looking at you strangely...

 

next weekend ill be in columbus oh racing a bunch of mercedes and bmw's!! private track rental at marion raceway then a shine and show on sat with aproox 150 euro's.
btw they fogs are oem not aftermarket. its part of the amg package with the bumper mesh and lights

 

Green is my favorite color... if they'd made a green crossfire, I'd have one. PERIOD.

I would like to say that you have done an excellent job on that SLK 32. My landlady owns a silver 320 and its in good shape, but with that dual CAI and those rims, not to mention that beautiful paint color, you blow that out of the water!

And everyone is right, just not enough of the 320s or 32s around. Explains why MB was so happy to put that drive line in a Chrysler to get rid of the stock. LoL

I've ridden in the old one, and I've ridden in the new one. Not sure if it's the newer motor, the AMG builder's emblem, or Jerry's "latest and greatest" tune... but it's a much faster car, and Steve's exhaust is totally stock at this point.

And smooooooooth.... You never really feel it shift, you just glance down and notice you're over 100 and climbing... quickly.

Can't wait till this thing gets some proper exhaust mods... and needswings manis, and _____ and _____

Well Steve, we are just glad we could help a friend get a car so beautiful. It had its rough spots, but I can see everything has been taken care of that stood out before. It is absolutely gorgeous and I feel bad for those on here that will never get to see it, because the green color is something that needs to be seen in person

you know it!! truck is loaded with tires and tools coolers and waiting for the trailer. load the car up thurs nite and be at the hotel by lunch. swap rubber and head for the track!!
