Need help! Messed car up at dragstrip!
Well first time at the track was not good. Got a few runs in, and about after run 5 I noticed the throttle was almost sticking. It was sticking at like 2.5k rpms, and when you press the throttle at all it would raise and stick. No code at first, but threw one later, just have to wait to get a scanner tomorrow after work.
Another note, there's like a whistling coming from either the supercharger or back by the throttle body/y pipe. Tried to disconnect battery and do a throttle reset with no luck. And I may have smelt burning once, not sure if it's belt slip or what.
I'll keep everyone posted with the code. I started a new thread because I did a quick search as couldn't find much with these specific symptoms, but if there is please point me that way!
Btw: car has dual cai, code 3 pulley, ported y pipe

The throttle "sticking" at 2500rpms is most likely the car going into limp mode to save your motor. Did you check the T30 bolts that hold your intake manifolds(ones that say SRT-6) onto the s/c? They like to come loose and will cause a loud sound and HUGE vacuum leak.

Anyways its more like a whitsle than a huge sound. I'll check the bolts tomorrow. As far as other vacuum line leaks, where should i start to look? I'll also report the code tomorrow.
All that's left tonight is to try and sleep and worry lol! I was just startin to get the Hang of it too!
Edit: I also have an oil catch can if that matters

I would check the MAP sensor mounted on the top of the Y pipe feeding the plenums....it just clips in place and may have popped loose.. Doc popped his once.... I think his was a broken clip though...
I agree that you likely have a leak somewhere....
(Jimmy types faster than me....LOL)

Well got an OBD II scanner and found 2 codes. P0507 - Idle air control systems rmps higher than expected. And P0120 - Throttle/Pedal position sensor A circuit.
Took off the intake and looks as if the IAT sensor is in place and clipped fine on the y pipe. Tried to start again and same issue, right upon startup it goes to 2500-3000 rpms and stays there. Dont see any lines off.
I'm stuck.
EDIT: And there is a weird buzzing sound coming from the Throttle body it sounds like. I tried unplugging the throttle body connect and reconnecting it and same same. Loud buzzing,

Both the sensor on the bottom of the trottle body and the one on top of the Y-pipe were in place right? Also, check the vacuum lines at on the rear of the engine on the drivers side.
Next guess, look at the throttle switch down by the peddle???

What should the throttle switch look like? Ie, how do I know if it's bad

throttle control module....????

I'm going to try and do a boost/vacuum leak test. With my mods I was only running a 13.4 @ 104 with a 2.02 60'(slower time and slow trap, guy before me w/o dual cai ran a 13 flat), so Rob over at needswings thinks I may have had a leak previous to the track and it just finally popped
yep, those are crappy times...make sure you didn't blow an intake gasket...and, look at where the dual CAI bolts onto the throttle body....they do come off...sucking too much air will make it idle high
