Need help! Messed car up at dragstrip!
Permatex or 3M Copper spray and you can find it at any auto parts store. I'll post a picture of the can later. It held over 22 psi when I stacked my pulleys.

Yup. Im actually headed to Pep Boys now to pick up a can. I did a few google searches and watch a few youtube vids on people using it. Seems basic enough. Thanks for the pointer (the true meaning of the forums existence)

It just really sucks to pay $40 for those 2 cork gaskets and they never even made it out of my driveway. But right into the trashcan now. Darn one time use....

I feel like a moron. I guess its what i get for doing everything at once. But i didnt even realize that on the back of the y-pipe, i guess rob welds a bung on to add either a boost gauge or an AIT gauge. I used the old incense trick (my first time doing it) i plugged it and it smoothed out every symptom. It never even dawned it me cuz for one i didnt even know he added a bung on there and i didnt remember removing anything from the y-pipe other than the map sensor. Shame on me i guess lol
The bung is for a boost gauge. Mine has 2, boost and for water/meth, now unused and plugged. Glad you found the problem during the double check.

Unfortunately that double check took 5 hours. Our brains are programmed to think the worst so we tend to overlook the simple stuff.
