Default Performance affected of outdoor air temp?

Just drove my srt6 home from the restaurant. COld outside (15'C) and the performance was like crazy. The car drove as it were on steroids... Is our cars so much affected by the air temp?

Pretty much all boosted cars are affected by temperature. My old turbo Cobalt loveddd the cold! As I'm sure these cars do

Yes, I found that my SRT worked best in the mid 40's, or 7C

At the track, I have seen around a .6 second difference between a cold dry day, and a hot sticky day. A .6 sec in a 1/4 mile is huge. So, yes..... temps will make a dramatic difference in power on a SC engine.

Yes, indeed. Our cars are very temperature sensitive!

You'll notice significant performance enhancement when it is chilly outside. But it all goes away once you heat-soak the engine. So enjoy it for what it is worth while the car is cold.

As a side note, if you ever dyno your car, this is why you want to let your car cool off for about an hour before you put it up on the dyno. You'll get better numbers before it heat soaks.

Where can I see a picture of a white SRT6 or a picture of a white SRT6 that looks like an na?
I've seen a sig showing what could be an white na with an SRT badge or a white SRT6 with a SRT6 name plate and na wheels. I'm thinking white na with SRT labels.
Let's see the whole thing, no pics - it did not happen.

Did I miss a big story? 15 deg in Florida?

Huge difference! My best 1/4 was a 11.74 @116 mph in 50+ degree weather. This summer I can't seem to break back into the 11's, stuck running 12.0's 114 mph, even in 100 degree heat. So I lost about 3 tenths and 2 mph. Can't wait for the Fall and Winter weather again!

It' always hot in Puerto Rico but I can tell you that when it's 100ºF the car is slower than when it's 80ºF.

I think its time you put your money where your mouth is. Talks cheap.
Well mr 180, the project is finsihed. I am driving "Albino" a one of a kind white SRT6 everyday with the often mentioned perma grin. So in short, money were put where my mouth is. FUBUs talk is not cheap.

I would like to see detailed pics as well. Not doubting you, but I would like to see it.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

I have gone through most of your new posts and they are to say the least confusing.

Pictures please, not words.

Where is this car?

As the saying goes **** or get off the pot.

I didn't know Chrysler made a White SRT6 Crossfire. From the inquiries I'm seeing, I suspect they didn't.
