Unhappy alarm problems and more

It started off one morning with the alarm going off, thought someone was breaking into my car because it has never gone off. Well anyway disarmed it, then armed it again, minutes later the alarm goes off again so I'm like wtf? So I just disarm it completely, minutes later it goes off again. Now its time for work and I don't have time for this crap. So then at work and at home over the next few days it does this until the battery is completely dead, SU I go up to advance and change out the battery (under warranty). the alarm has gone off so much over the past few days that the alarm siren is messed up and you can hardly hear it when it goes off. After the new battery everything seems to be good. Wrong, now the parking lights and fog lights stay on indefinitely after parking the car, thus draining my battery so now I have to disconnect the battery everytime I park..grr..so the weeks pass and now all the power door locks completely stop working so I have to manually lock and unlock my doors and I can't access my rear hatch and I had to remove the gas cap lock so I can put gas in the damn car. When I first got this car I was high on life absolutely loved this car despite everyone at work calling me gay for buying it, I didn't care I just figured they were jealous. Now I'm really starting to hate it.. someone please help me.

Alarm is a common problem---Either SKREEM in the dash or the controller in the hatch---use the search and see what problems line up with yours. DO NOT---REPEAT---DO NOT count on the dealer to figure this out---They will guess and throw big dollar parts at this---which you will pay for---GOOD LUCK, Jimmy

Mine did this for a while so I pulled the fuse out, forgot what number it is. Locked my doors manually like you did then got sick of it so I put the fuse back in ready to try to solve the alarm problem and everything ended up being fine afterwards! WTF? These cars are so freaking weird......

i had same issue. I read all the post so i took my old FOB that is close enough to the car to work and put it where the signal didn't reach and i read about the doors, hatch, glove box, and hood latches so i took some stuff out of my glove box (it was pretty full). The alarm stop going off. sounds silly but it worked. not sure if any of that was the issue but hey i can sleep at night now

I feel like this is a bit too close for comfort here and everyone is going through this same issue one way or another around the same time frame but here, take a look at my thread, it'll help you tons.

Your problem I would say 99.99999% is your Central Locking Control Module which is located in the trunk of your car in the right hand side, the spoiler wing is known to leak through the gaskets and cause water to eventually get down there and sip through the module ( I have NO idea what the heck they were thinking when they put it in there ) but its prone to leak.. I hope you're ready to get your hands dirty, you need to leak proof that spoiler wing and mounting plate because once you replace that module, you'll have that problem again since water keeps leaking in there.. the good news is I've been through this and I know its the module, leak proofing isn't all that hard, here take a look at my thread, this happened to me not too long ago too.

I cannot believe there isn't a recall on this!!!!! its too common now!!
