Default AMG Speed Shift conversion for SRT-6

Hi,

we have a succesfull adaption of the AMG speed shift software for the SRT-6 AT-gearbox.
At the moment we are still working on a solution for N/A AT cars.

This was initiated by evil_deeds and done by the german company 2 members (EMAXX, Mc Horb) in germany of the new Crossfire forum (http://www.chrysler-crossfire-forum.de) have it now in their cars. It runs in a very built and a very late built SRT-6. So we think that this will work with any SRT-6.

EMAXX has combined it with a RAID steering wheel with paddles, which is definitely the best solution. But you can also use aftermarket paddles, or the Autostick function.

What are the benefits.
You'll have 2 modes: S (Summer) and M (Manual). M replaces the W (Winter) mode.

If you choose "M":
- You can choose every gear within millisecounds.
- Gears don't switch when reaching max. rpms.
- You can accellerate much faster.

"S" works as always.

What has to be done to get this software update for your gearbox:
The company needs your gearbox control unit. So you have to send it to germany. They flash the new software on it. Than they send it back to you. I think the best thing would be to organize a collective order - if there is enough interest.

At the moment we don't have a price tag. And think the more prospects there are, the better the price will be.

So, please let me know, if you're interested in a software update for your SRT-6 gearbox.
And if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Regards
Markus

does this cover the SLK32 as well?

This is an exciting upgrade . The timing could not be better since I am about to start shipping the Paddle shifter integration kits for the Srt6's,
Should work together very nicely.

Chris

For us driving in winter climate I guess this mod is ruled out ;D taking away the winter mode, no can do.. The paddles looks way cool though. But how lazy can you get ;P If it was an easy install I would do it.

Using the RAID will ensure that all the bugs are out anyway.

I would have sworn that was a cow from the picture.
I heard you found out it wasn't when you tried to milk it.

If the price is right I'd certainly be interested. Winter mode doesn't really do anything but start the car out in second gear iirc and I'd trade that to be rid of having to use a lot of throttle play to keep it from upshifting. I assume we'd still be stuck with the 'always on' traction control right? That's another thing that's getting old, nothing like two seconds of lag between shifts when powering into second.

i think he is jimmy but the tcu flash will also work with just the shifter so in theory either the wireless or a hard wired set of paddles should also work
