Does anyone know where to get these clips??? For the interior trim.
Re: Does anyone know where to get these clips??? For the interior trim.
I have had these panels out and in several times. I found that adding Velcro around the holes when using these clips and short strips of Velcro along the edge of the hatch tightened things up for a better fit and less squeaks.

I'm guessing any Ace Hardware can supply the same...???
Or...
It might be a good buiness for someone on the West coast, who wants to take a 2 cent clip, mark it up handsomely, sell'em on eBay, and make a small fortune...lol...
Edit: Is Ace Hardware one and the same as True Value, or am I sending out bad info, once again...

The Mercedes Benz dealer gave me some and said they would also fit perfect but didn't at all either.... so now I had to take things in my own hands and figure out a solution!
This is a How-To Video showing you an alternative nylon clip for your interior panel trim to use as a replacement than the OEM clip that is very difficult to find the precise fitting one made for the Chrysler Crossfire. This is very inexpensive, available at most auto stores right away and is simple to do. Here, I will show you how!!

The hidden white pins came out with a tussle but they survived with no breakage as well, was the weather cold when you did it?

Found the white clips at my local Mercedes dealer, they even had the foam surround to reduce rattles but other than that they are identical. The part number is 011-988-76-78 and they cost $2.90 a piece. If you google the part number you can find them for under a dollar.

This was a few years ago, my Amazon history shows the purchase, but that particular kit is not available any more.
THIS ONE is similar and is less money than I paid:

I purchased mine in a much higher quantity for about the same price. These look like OEM parts.
PM me your address and I will mail you a dozen no charge (not OEM), this is a reward for Oz kicking out a certain tennis player.
He can afford the airfare no sweat without the prize money and the fee for just showing his face, why do these people think they are so special?
