x3. And, back to wind tunnels, do any of them account for cross winds and gusts, you know, like the real world has?

John-congrats on finding a 6. It's all you've ever really wanted, as your last car tried to mimic. Now you have ponies to back up that beautiful whale tail! No fingernail clippings for MEN!!!!!!!

LOL thanks! It will be your twin if the deal goes through as planned.

My heart is still moved by white X-fires, but the rest of me will be moved much quicker with the graphite SRT. I had to ask myself what I loved more; white, or victory?

Just look at my signature and you can see what just 1 mod will do for these beasts! Heard you're stealing this one. Glad to know you stepped up, and your wife can drive without burning a clutch or grinding gears along the way. Look forward to meeting you, Nick, Steve, and everyone else at the Dragon next spring!

Cheers,
I could not even guess which style of wing has the most drag and down force. Any object that interferes with the smooth airflow over a vehicle will create drag, the greater down force or lift created by that object the greater the drag. Nothing is free so you cannot just have down force alone. Balancing these two forces is the trick.

Well this took a nice turn. I think if Johnny had talked to them after the presentation he would have heard a better explanatiion. And they were not the wind tunnel experts, but were in charge of the project. We didn't see any wind tunnel results either. One guy candidly stated there wasn't any difference. He admittinglyt stated after the meeting he wasn't there for the wind tunnel results. I can't fathom at the higher speed being stable with the little guy. In fact, if you look at any running higher speeds, it is usually a larger wing. I like what I have and that is me. I wouldn't want the flip up wing. I don't mind the look on a roadster, but don't like the look on a coupe, so I wouldn't own one. I don't like the wheels either. But, that is my taste, not yours...just the way it is. But, if you are going to bad mouth my ironing board, then be ready to take a tongue lashing on your skate board...just sayin'....

Since the SRT has a fixed spoiler and the NA has a speed sensitive spoiler. How would you activate the NA 's spoiler on an SRT? Would you use the switch only?

I have a '04 that I swapped out the srt6 drive train with 3' dual cai and sc pulley and some other mods. Never had a bad feeling about going 154mph (as fast as I have gone) And it had more in her just didn't have the road to do more. I like the fact I have a stock looking NA with all the srt6 brakes and suspension to go with the drive train. I too do not like the "whale tail". just my .02 I really like it when a STi see's my tail lights and don't know what hit him ....same for a few Beemers it's fun because the whine of the sc is the ONLY indication mine is not a stock NA.

If that '04 had a 6MT in it, I would be in love

As far as I know nobody has the 6MT behind the SC motor due to the TCM that is needed ......Rudy told me he was working on a solution last year but no progress on it to date. I believe it would stand up to the additional TQ because so many V8 N/A's have the 6MT being used with no issues.
