Default Does anyone have datalogs of IAT with supercooler

Just curious does anyone have datalogs of IAT's with and without a supercooler. I like to look at the ramp of increase and decrease under load. Ambient reference would also be helpful.

dont have any before but log them all the time. ramp up is almost immediate to approx 120* and the decrease once out of the throttle is almost as fast. separete your system and use a 70% water 30% coolant mix.

This datalog is the top of 2nd though the 3-4 shift. As soon as it shifted into 4th I let off. By the way, it was 60F outside, so my AIT's were around 90F before I floored it. My AIT's are generally 30F over ambient during regular driving.

See! AFR's in the 10's! And Grip runs 11's! (super slow sample rate you have there Grip)

Steve starts after 40 minutes under 2 bags of ice. (Am I right?)

I'll have to look for a recent log of mine.

My sample rate is so fast that I can't post a 50 to 135 run so here's the cliff notes.

100% throttle from 52 -

52 mph IAT 127º ECT 194º AFR 11.2 RPM 5030
67 mph IAT 136º ECT 194º AFR 11.4 RPM 4318
82 mph IAT 142º ECT 194º AFR 11.7 RPM 4668
89 mph IAT 145º ECT 195.8º AFR 11.5 RPM 5030
95 mph IAT 149º ECT 195.8º AFR 11.0 RPM 5755
108 mph IAT 154º ECT 195.8º AFR 11.1 RPM 6053
112 mph IAT 162º ECT 195.8º AFR 11.4 RPM 4538
116 mph IAT 160º ECT 195.8º AFR 11.5 RPM 4818
120 mph IAT 160º ECT 197.6º AFR 11.5 RPM 4977
127 mph IAT 162º ECT 197.6º AFR 11.5 RPM 5121
134 mph IAT 167º ECT 197.6º AFR 10.5 RPM 5411

When the IAT's pass 165º (more or less) the AFR's drop a full point. This was my first hot lap. If I get inspired I'll look for a lap 15 minutes into the race.

I know it's slow, but I just started logging with this new software 3 days ago and haven't tweaked it yet.

I've iced the SC two of the last three weeks we've run, but Steve doesn't bother. His SC is always cool to the touch anyway.

As for the A/F, I want leaner.

I was just poking to get some useful info, that's all. I mean, a SLK so close to the 11's at 121? Trickster! I've gotta get my IAT's down where you have them.

Over the years it seems the "fast guys" are in the mid to upper 12's. I worry too much so I'm mid 11's. When I get my temperatures under control I'll be getting a retune to be in the low 12's.

Thanks for the logs.
Les, looking at my visual data my numbers at 120mph IAT 163 AFR 10.3, compares to your 120mph, IAT 160 AFR 11.5. Your ambient was probably much higher than my 70 degrees but I had been running the car pretty hard , back to back runs about 10 times without any cooling. I am running much richer with the 10.3 versus 11.5. It will be nice when my cable gets here tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't have a way to integrate it with the OBD II data. Another project down the road. The OBDII data seems slow as well.
