EC SC Pulley 65 mm - verdict?
Hi all!
Start off to wish you all a mery xmas!
I guess both 180 and JHM2K will enjoy having bought two new mean machines!
I am writing just to hear about the SC Pulley from EC. I have bought mine but have it shelved as there is too much snow here. I will install it in 2012 march along with a DCAI and ECU tune. (my xmas gift to myself)
But to the ones who have already installed it, must be at least 10, what is your verdict? Was it up to expectaions? any problems installing? Give us some info
Many thanks againg to EC for helping us SRT owners out!

I had no hand in the install, but all I know is this: My car (with the 65mm pulley, Single NW CAI, and EC tune) is an absolute rocket.
I am confident that with the driver mod, I should see low 12's at least.
I plan to either upgrade to the larger X-Stream filter used with the NW single, or simply upgrade to the NW dual... still on the fence as 90% of the cats in the 11's are running the NW single.
But, answering your question, yes the 65mm pulley is a hoss. I love it. My highway ***** are huge... much bigger than they need to be until I get a good radar detector.

I'm sure you will hit 11's if the track is prepped well and the temps are cool enough. FUBU....Go ahead and intsall the pulley since it isn't really hard to do, instead of waiting till spring. The DCAI and EC Tune can be done afterwards. I had my pulley on for awhile before the tune.

My sons SRT-6 was stock and was running consistant flat 13's in the 1/4. After a 20 min install of the EC Code 3, tuned ECU and TCU, he ran 12.2, 12.2 and 12.1 without letting the car cool between runs and on pump gas. In my opionion Jerry and the guys at Eurocharged are great to work with and putting out quality products.

The car feels like the tach is off by 1000 rpm. At 2000 rpm you have the power that was available at 3000 rpm and so on.Suddenly I feel the need for a taller drive gear as the car has so much power at highway speed. It is smooth as silk from idle all the way to red line. It does have a nice growl at high rpms though. My gas mileage did improve when I am not on it. I just got 23.75 mpg on a 60/40 highway/city tank of gas. An improvement of 1.5 mpg. Not a bad deal.
Its the best mod I have done to date! It made such a difference! Unfortunately there is no public drag strip to test her out officially but the look on people's faces when I leave them for dead is priceless! It's absolutely night and day difference. The installation was quite easy with the help of the strap wrench. Now I just need to fix that pesky oil leak and window weld the rear glass and I'm running 100% P.S. Invest in a new set of tyres or maybe even two!
Cheers

Thanks for the replies.
I'll add the pulley in march as the roads are way too icey now.
The DCAI will come on in march aswell along with the ECU.
At that point I will go to either a dyno or strip to test the performance.
Is there a "run-in" time for the pulley?

I have disassembled the whole car + seats + changed polybushes, throttlebody on other cars so I guess I am quite good at the mechanics. Is it easy?
