I have not really pushed it to the floor due to ice but I cannot really hear a whining noise like I hear on all drag videos. Is that sound enhanced by a DCAI or?

I used a NAPA part #T42194 as the smooth pulley to take the place of the stock SC idler and moved the stock pulley down to the hole just above the alternator using a m10 x 3 1/2" bolt with a locking nut and washer. The belt goes over the stock relocated pulley and under the new NAPA pulley and wraps the sc pulley more than 3/4 of the way around.
Is it really needed to have one? I asked ppl at EC and it was not.

The belt is stock and the engine has 8,736 miles so the same for the belt. It is not strreched out and the tensioner is about 5/8 through its travel. Not maxxed out. This was just a solution I came up with not something anyone else has to try......Just my way of devising a solution to belt slippage. The T42194 smooth pulley works perfect for this for me.

Bad bearings? I don't have enough miles on the new engine transplant to know the draw backs for the stock sc pulley but if the bearings are a bad design then I may want to go with a diff pulley. I am sure something out there is similar.
