Default Intercooler problems

has anyone had any problems with a Johnson pump, I installed one (my OEM was shot) in August and have driven my SRT6 about 1000 miles(only16000 miles ) with the new pump and the working only part time is back.Could something else be the problem or will I have to pull it to see if it went bad also.

Check fuse#13 it's a red 10amp fuse. I had the Johnson pump and it kept blowing the fuse before the pump finally died. I only got about a year out of it. Most people here have had good luck with it maybe we were one of the lucky that got one the bad ones.

I have had the CM30 in the Aero for about 3 years and it works great....

It is very good to have a fully functional Johnson.......

Excuse my ignorance here folks, but how do you know when the IC Pump is breaking down? I bought my SRT-6 second hand and has 26,000 miles, I have no record of it ever being replaced? I should I just go ahead and replace it now?

unless you are having problems, I would leave it alone.... I have stock pumps on each of mine to date.....but did replace one on warranty... I keep my johnson on the shelf as back up for now. I was going to install it a couple of times, but I just haven't had a reason to yet... If the pump fails it won't leave you stranded, just won't give you the power of the SC....you can limp it home and install the johnson ....therefore you won't have a limp johnson, but a fully functional johnson.... Besides, your johnson is upside down....isn't it? OK, I will leave that alone.....that was another thread....

haha.. I love the way you guys "take the pi$$" out of us Aussies..

Thanks for the advice on the IC Pump, I haven't had any issues with my SRT-6 so far, I might get a pump from Needswings and have it on "stand by"..

Cheers

A female friend of mine was here last night and had dinner with me. Thereafter she started fiddleing around the front region a bit and she decided to pull my Johnson. Now we found out that it's fully functional.
