Rust on S/C

Anyone experience this? Suggestions for a remedy?

yep got it on mine. wipe it down with some steel wool sprayed with wd40

That's actually your pulley rusting. I'd remove the pulley, prep, and paint it. Otherwise you could wipe some WD40 on face (avoid the back side) and call it a day.

What about you? I saw you were viewing that thread last night after we got off the phone. Hopefully you can get a price from them.

By the way, I'm driving past your town on my way to Shelbyville this morning.

off for dental surgery today at 930. stop by when you done if you want ill be home by 1 or so

Don't let em pull your wisdom teeth! It be a shame if you went to the dentist a smart @$$ and left as a dumb... well you get the idea. LOL

12 needles and 3 hrs later im 6000$ lighter and sore as can be. liquid diet for 1 week then mush for 2 weeks. folks take care of your teeth this sucks!

Well let me tell you, I had a 69 buick skylark and the flywheel on the front where the accessory belt was, was all rusted. It ran like hell and never gave me a problem all the years I owned her. If it bothers you that much, use some steel wool on it then a Rust-Oleum coat on it and just cover it so that rust doesn't form. Thats my $0.02 cents worth today!

Ouch - Steve sorry to hear about the suckiness. Nothing good to say about it but hopefully the worst is over and the pain is will payoff. Good luck brother! At least you have a fast, bad *** looking car
