Default Another SC question

I know this dead horse has been beaten before(and I apologize) but I just don't trust my 'Butt-Dyno' with determining whether or not the SC is working. Is there an easy method to find out or do I just have to see if the hides boil from a starting position? One problem I have is that I'm 6'7" and I barely fit in the car at all. It's definitely the wife's car! We flew to Florida and drove it home to Illinois a month ago, and it was like torture to sit in it that long. Still, I love it for being a awesome car.

I'm actually thinking about swapping in a new IC pump to see if there is a difference. Can anyone give me some clues? Thanks.

you will not have any power, or you will have intermittant power, almost bucking at times. Power when cold, but once the car is at temps, it will cut out. You can go, but like a 4 cylinder....lol....

There is a connector right by the SC and it supplies the power to the electro magnet that drives the pulley, if you disconnect that you would see the power without the SC.
The connector is on the black bracket that supports the SC idler pulley, the bracket has AMG stamped on it.
We are cruel to animals, so beating dead horses is fine with us.

It's a 3-step procedure. Perform the following:
1. Find a stop sign.
2. Put the autostick in 1st.
3. Floor it.
If you're staring at the headrest, the SC is working.

I like the Beeps 3-step process; however, the part about staring at the head rest is a bit troubling.
