Road and Track is reporting that Chry.....er, I mean Fiat, is looking at making a Dodge Journey the new SRT 6.

After looking at Dodge's site, I may trade my 2005 SRT6 for the new and improved SRT6, maybe we can add a Journey subforum? Just a thought.

 

Anyone expect a Dodge/Fiat Journey to out-handle an existing X-fire SRT-6..... not gonna happen. Power isn't everything.

 

My guess is the Journey SRT6 will handle at least as well as our cars. It won't be faster than a stock XF SRT6, but once modded it will be. But once you mod the XF SRT6, then Journey will fall behind.

I think its a form of discrimination, to only have one SRT-6 and not the other. A modern day Jim Crow law if you ask me.

 

The Crossfire SRT6 = sexy sports car. The Journey SRT6 = kleenex box with a nice motor.

 

last time I checked there was the word "crossfire" in the web address, not "srt6"

Sometimes Sergio gets it right, sometimes he gets it wrong. Rarely, way wrong. This is a way wrong idea and an insult to 05-06 SRT-6. Someone needs to tell the sweater guy this. He's already run the fabulous Lancia brand into the ground and, in turn, badge engineered an icon. Thanks for saving Chrysler, Sergio. Now leave our step child alone. Unless you do a new Viper jr. with it.
