I hope to be able to try mine in the lowlands someday. The best I could do with my mods at Bandimere in Denver (~5800' ASL) was 105 13.7.

Yep I am defineately going back now that I have some launch/shifting tips to try out, probably end of sept. should still be stock....maybe!

330ft --- 5.9846
1/8 et--- 8.9829
1/8mph---80.93
1000ft---11.5008
1/4 et---13.6592
1/4mph---106.64
my reaction time sucks but that doesnt factor into the 1/4et unless its a real race, so that I'll work on that way later down the road!

2.3 sixty foot and still ran a 13.6 in the summer. Not bad if you ask me. Get the 60ft down to a 2.0 and you have a low 13 sec run.

Apparently it's a low 13's car it just has a mid 13's driver! Haha

yes it is a low 13's car, but like mention by others, weather, DA, make a difference as well. Those times I mentioned though as Matt will tell you, were in the 90's, bad track prep, and high humidity...so it wasn't bad for a stock coupe....

You don't need anything more than a single CAI and some practice to hit 12s. Just look at the sig.

You dont have a tune, tires, or anything except a scai?? If so then thats real impressive! You should pilot my car and I'll then know its real potential!

Yup. Just a SCAI and a few Friday nights at the track. She runs 12.9-13.0 consistently, but when it's cold it turns into a different car. Pulley may be in the works for next week, and then we'll see what happens!

Unless you weigh over 250 lbs., it would be an exercise in futility! I'm a big guy at 6'4" and 255 lbs. MIMI05SRT made the same comment once while we were at the track, but he's half my size. Though I would love to take his car for a run or three and see what some mods feel like under my foot.

Well...well...well....I love this forum..!
Today I tried the 1st gear thingy - quiet road ....clicked it into 1st....then gingerly wound it up to redline...sure enough...switch at 6200rpm!....slowed down - although she stayed in 2nd.

So I got a bit braver....lights (no camera) and action.....
holy Je$h!...first gear was over in a second and the holy cr@p batman 2nd gear just kicked my a$$.
I was in a 50 zone and had to put the anchors on - but wow.
mind you ...the dash indicated 2nd and I didnt have to "pop" anything.

I was also suprised I didnt wheel spin like I normally have been.

PS - obviously still learning the car.
But am anxious to get to the next tarmac challenge.
Tarmac Challenge
My old SLK230 didnt make the vid - but I hope the 32 will next time. My scone did the last photo justice though.....
Wednesday drags are a regular around my way and its still winter - so need to get out and have a go.
