Default Sprint booster SBCY0022S

This is my first post, just getting into the whole SRT6 mindset.....these things FLY!! Im having a few problems with my acceleration though. Its strange, sometime i put my foot flat on the gas pedal and my face is ripped off but others it selects a lower gear...and revs... but i hardly accelerate. I was wondering if anyones got some feedback for me with regards to the sprint booster and also any sugestions for my right foot problem. Cheers.

I suspect the sprint booster will not improve your problem.
Give more details, like how long have you been driving when the problem occurs each time. Give as many details as possible, or it's like going to the doctor and saying I feel ill. They have already have guessed that or you would not be there.

Ok, normally when i first start up, set off and let ma engine and transmition oil warm up i have no problems when it comes to power. I get to the motorway and going about 70-80 mph, you get that annoying astra driver up your *** and i decide to leave him in my dust so i put my foot down, it normally drops down to 3rd gear and revs increase to 4500 rpm (foot still flat).....but i accelerate so slow its rediculous, i know somthing isnt right, i was reading some other threads, might be the waterpump to sc? Or a fuse? Not too sure tbh, but thats where you awesome people come in haha.

Pump maybe or the IC.
Search for both and look for symptoms.

Thanks for your help onehundred80, ill dig deeper. So apart from my power problem has anyone installed a sprint booster? I just want to know if it has an effect on performance. Or if its a waste of time.

It is a good thing you figured it to just be the fuse. But keep this experience in mind. Replacing the IC pump is quite common, I replaced mine after having the same experience with sluggishness.

I have a SprintBooster. Some will say that it doesn't really do anything but, I like it. I bought it because when I'm headed home from work I exit the interstate and immediately need to get in the left lane to turn, I have to cross 4 lanes. If I don't make it I have to drive two miles down then do a u-turn.
It is a pretty busy road so I often have to shoot into a gap when I see one. Before the SB I would floor it to get across, and nothing happens for a second or so, by the time it kicks in I may have missed the window. Now that I have the SB it moves when I want it to move. Reaction/response is improves significantly.

That is my experience, others may differ.
