Default Random thoughts Part 1

Well, after getting my car back on the road AND burning about $150 in gas over the last two days, I've fallen in love all over again.

Tonight, I was cruisin' thru town and country, just diggin' being on planet earth. Ain't life grand?

Allow me to wax philosophical.

Life throws all of us our fair share of curves. I am no exception. They say you are suppose to roll with the punches. Based on my many years of experience, I can safely say that rolling is much easier when you have a great ride to roll in.

My car is my second wife. Compared to my first wife, she is less expensive. She has no expectations of me. I can never disappoint her. She responds positively to my slightest touch and never ceases to thrill me. Yes, sometimes she's a bit temperamental, but with a little love, she always comes through.

Ahem...my first wife came with that. Didn't work out too well in the long run...

(My apologies to our more sensitive members...gawd, another joke in the making)

Too funny, lol. Gotta say, Show me a car that can elicit this kind of passion(or is that compulsion?) for under $20k, and I'll eat my scale model SRT6.

You know, I've owned a lot of cars over the years and I have never found the need to name them. The other day a friend asked me if I had name my SLK32. I replied that I had not and that I wasn't in the habit of naming cars. After a little more thought I continued, "I haven't named this one, but I have now named all the others...'Pieces of SHlT'"
