Default Code 3 intake question

I tried searching but I haven't found much info. Where can I buy a code 3 intake mod, I know it may not add HP and is prone to heatsoak but I just want to put it on temporarily to see how the SC sounds with it. Thanks.

Code3 is no more, plus you don't want a hot air intake. Your options are NeedsWings, SL55 airboxes, or DIY.

Gotcha, I figured since the latest threads were from a few years ago on it. NeedsWings it is . On a side note, just posted some pics of the car on the Volvo S60 R forum a few minutes ago and boy are they a bunch of haters/fanboys!

Wow they really do not like Crossfires. I love reading outsiders thoughts of what the cars are. Hilarious all the "its this, no its that" stuff. They seemed to think this forum is just full of people who are stuck up. lol

If the Chrysler logo falls off of your remote key, there will be a Benz star underneath. But yeah, it's not a Mercedes.

Any DIY out there? I can't really find any info on it, even what it looks like and how it works. Thanks!

6" square pvc drain grate from home depot. mate it to the oem y pipe with the backside removed. use filter material inside. cost maybe 20$

Could you explain what you mean 'with the backside removed'? Just curious, highly doubt I'll be doing this lol.

Needswings is the bomb. Rob is a great guy to work with.
and...
don't worry about the other forums. We tangle with them from time to time.
Just know the 6 isn't about to apologise to anyone.

Sounds good, I'll be definitely getting the Needswings single in the near future. I don't really care for the dual look and honestly I have been always more about performance and simplicity. I had a single exhaust on my S2000 - less weight, more gains, no sense of having a dual exhaust on a four banger, even though the look of it wasn't all that great due to the dual exits on the rear bumper.
