This is very cool for cyclists that own crossfires

Finally a solution for our cars for cyclists, surfers, and the outdoors type needing to haul a few items on the roof.

Thats actually pretty cool. Im curious if this could be a solution for my phone on my bike. I wanted a mount for GPS use.
Just got my Seasucker bike rack put together and up on the car. So far it looks like there are two mounting options that work on the crossfire.
The videos on their site show the front mount placing one single cup on the windshield...wont work on our car due to the trim band and the rake of the windshield.
So I tried mounting it on the roof and back window...this works however there is a slight flexing in the roof at the front mount as the two cup are in a weaker part of the roof.
Then I flipped the front mount AND BINGO! With only a CM or two to spare I got the entire bike on the roof with no flex!!
Unless you pull at the front edges, these things are on there, you wont be able to pull them off until you break the seal.

Really neat !!!
Just one suggestion : attach a bungee to the drive sprocket to prevent the pedals from hitting the roof at 90 MPH .......

My only concern is the paint being scuffed of scratched with the suction cups otherwise pretty neat set up
As long as the cups are kept clean (they come with covers for storage) and the car is clean there are no issues. These things dont move around like traditional push on cups, they use a pump to pull the air out from under the cup. Seriously you could hang from one of them they are that strong.
That's the best bike mount option I've seen for the Crossfire. Let us know how it works out with the road test.
So far so good. Was out today for a bit to see how the temp figured into the holding time. After a 30 minute trip all was good in 60 deg weather.
I purchased the SeaSucker Talon bikerack 2 months ago and have used the rack 10 times, 7 on the SRT6 and 3 times on the wife's Jetta. The Talon has worked flawlessly when the mounting point on the car is clean and the vaccum pad is moisten. I clean the mounting surface with The Absorber synthetic chamois and I carry a spray bottle with leftover distilled water and moisten the pads every time I use the rack.
It takes a minute to mount and 5 seconds to take off.
The only thing I would like to mention is to check that all of the screws are tighten. I had a few that were barely hand tight.

That is a fantastic system, thanks for sharing. Many uses for this type of cup...
I went the other route and bought a subaru turbo hatchback for my daily driver so I can throw the Cannondale road bike or the Cannondale lefty mountain bike in the back with no issues and the crossfire is at home in the garage

I've used a pair of vacuum cups now and again for 25 yrs. or so for carrying large sheets of plate glass or windows, and never had one let go. But of course we weren't driving down the freeway being subjected to the additional forces. It is neat to see them being used for this new purpose. Those are well thought out and quite nice, but I'd keep the driving on the conservative side myself.
