No camber??
i received my car back from getting my new tires put on and i ask for a front wheel alignment and they told me the crossfire has no front alignment and my car is out of Aline by 1.4 Nev. so that is going to wear out my front tires a Little quicker ...... can someone please help me understand why a car has no front camber adjustment????
Fastfred; was your car subject to an impact to the front wheels? The collision repair adjustable camber bolts are only good to + or - .5 degrees from what I've been told here on the Forum. I'm thinking you should get a second opinion on the alignment figures. If they're the same as the original shops diagnosis, then the collision repair bolts won't get you to spec.. You'll need to go with a more expensive fix.
sorry i should have said so in my 1st. post but yes i did a search be for i started a thread and i see members buying kits to adjust camber but i could not find a reason why they came that way?NO CAMBER ADJUSTMENT.. does it make the car handle better or why no camber?
also maybe someone can give me a lead on the best bang for the buck to buy.? i see members buying K-mac ...ect. ....thank you for your help, info and leads...

You can adjust the front camber by using Mercedes camber bolt kits ($25 X 2 sets) or K-MAC camber bushings (way expensive though, $450), parts only. Lots of threads about lowered cars and camber adjustments. Reference one listed below. The camber bolts will only give you back about .5 degrees though. If you are off -1.4, that's probably alright especially if you are lowered. A little negative camber I believe will always be there by design for good cornering at the expense of tires. Some cheap tires like Nexen N3000s or Maxxis’ MA-Z1 Victra might be worthy of a try if you are short on cash for new rubber.

I have the MBZ camber bolts as well, and all they could dial in was -1.6 max, won't get any better using the MBZ bolts as they only give you .5 degrees, come to find out. So, either a KMAC bushing kit might be in order, or camber plates (if you can find them... which apparently nobody can). Others can chime in, but at my KW-V2 lowering height with rake (1 finger in front, 2 fingers in back), I'm at -1.6 left and right front, and with MBArts' camber arms in back, I'm at -1.4 both left and right in the back. Rides great, no contact, no cutting or shaving. I don't track my SRT6 though. So you hard-core track guys might find it different for other in-use suspension setups and alignment settings
