Default front disk breaks not making complete contact, help??

I inspected an srt6 today and noticed that the front break pads do not make complete contact with the disks. The pad is at sucjh an angle that only the outermost portiont makes contact with the disk. I have never seen this before on any vehicle before I am baffled. Is this normal on a crossfire srt or will they need replacing? If they are not designed this way how did they end up like this? Does anyone have an answer.

Either the calipers are messed up or someone replaced the pads and didn't put everything back together right.

I can't imagine what they did to make the pads fit in the brake cliper crooked but DON'T DRIVE the car like that.

Replacing the brake pads is not that difficult so that is a mystery to me how they could get them in like that. Take it all apart on set the pads in level and so they can move in and out against the rotor like they should before re assembly.

I just did my front pads 2 days ago - maybe the caliper retaining screws (the ones in the rubber booties (7mm Hex) arent threded right and tightened to 25Nm.
Or the spring clips on the inside arent correctly "snapped" into the cylinder...
Or the pads arent the right ones for the car...
Or the pad "handles" aren't seated in the holder grooves correctly - pull it all apart and have another go.
1hr max each wheel including tool gathering and cleanup....
Make sure you have a 7mm hex though - most sets come with a 4,5,6,8,10...and not a 7mm.....
In haste late at night I tried making one out of an 8mm but failed....it was more the haste than the skill....I'm sure of it....;>)
