LateModel21's Belt Wrap Kit - Installed
Here is a pic of the Belt Wrap Kit configured for the larger crank pulley shown on an SRT6 with a 185 crank pulley (and a stock SC pulley). There is plenty of wrap eliminating belt slip at the SC . Also, the larger Alternator pulley slows it down to a reasonable speed (larger crank pulleys make the alternator spin up to 19% faster than stock) and eliminates slip there as well. This pic shows a proto alternator pulley, but I am currently having similar production versions of this alternator pulley made for this application (that, like all the other pulleys in the kit, will have a hard-black anodize coating on the belt surface).
Unlike the kit for the 61-65 mm SC pulley which was able to use the original serpentine belt, this kit requires that a new belt (k081177 ) be used.
Cheers,
Chris

I installed another set on a friends car and added the bracket and pulley for mine. This belt wrap kit is very nice.

Has anyone done a before/after dyno run on the reduced rpm alternator pulley along with the better contact patch on a 65mm supercharger pulley?

Why would you REDUCE the alternator pulley size ?
That would make it spin faster, requiring more power to do so and imposing extra strain on it.

While I would welcome any before/after dynos (particularly any that suggested a big gain
The difference to the alternator is more likely to be reflected in how fast the motor spins up (by changing the speed that this "flywheel" spins relative to engine speed) and how long the alternator lives (bearing life, etc.) neither of which will be reflected on the dyno.
hope that helps,
Chris
P.S. Any who have data they want to share .... please share
I am trying to avoid selling partial kits as it leaves me with the rest of the kit . And, shipping to Europe doesn't make it any more tempting. But let me consider it a bit and I will send you an Email.
Cheers,
Chris
Haha
Aniway, the shipping to Europe will be less than 50$ (just receive S/C pulley from US)
So if you want to offer me something, feel free to send me message.
Best regards
marian
